Supporting Critical Infrastructure Improvements in Waco, Texas

The City of Waco is currently investing in significant infrastructure improvements as part of its ongoing efforts to modernize and refurbish aging piping systems. One phase of the project involves approximately 1,300 feet of 16-inch DIPS DR11 HDPE sewer pipe. This new sewer infrastructure will help replace aging systems while supporting the city's continued growth and long term utility needs.
A second phase of the project involves approximately 1,500 feet of 42-inch DR11 HDPE pipe that will be installed beneath a river crossing utilizing horizontal directional drilling methods. The 42-inch HDPE pipe will serve as a casing pipe, housing a 30-inch HDPE carrier pipe that will be fused and pulled through the casing following installation.

Earlier this year, our fabrication team completed a custom dual containment system that was supplied for a project in Canada. Dual containment piping systems are designed to provide an additional layer of protection by incorporating a secondary containment pipe around the primary carrier pipe.
These systems are commonly utilized in industrial, chemical processing, mining, water treatment, and environmental applications where leak detection and containment are critical operational requirements.

One example is a custom extrusion welded fabrication recently completed for a gold mine in Nevada.
This project involved the fabrication of a 48-inch HDPE structure designed to function as a wet well within the facility's process system. Wet wells are commonly used to collect, store, and manage fluids before they are transferred through pumping or processing systems.
Because mining environments often involve abrasive materials, corrosive conditions, and demanding operating requirements, HDPE is frequently selected due to its corrosion resistance, durability, flexibility, and long service life.
